Current yearly support is going to the new program The Performing Arts Center in Ma'a lot in Northern Israel. This support will help UJC build and strengthen Israel based Jewish communities and activities and to nurture Jewish learning and education.

Since its establishment in 1966, McLennan Community College has grown to a two-year college educating over 8,000 students per semester and providing educational opportunity for residents in the local community. McLennan Community College Foundation was created in 1990 to help students achieve their educational goals by assisting them with financial scholarships. The College and the Foundation are working on a major initiative to attract more first-generation college students. This grant, payable over three years, is to expand the MCC First Generation program to encourage First Generation students, and transition them to a four-year college curriculum to complete their bachelor's degree.

The Rapoport Service Scholarship is open to freshman enrolled in Liberal Arts. The scholarship awards up to $7,500 per year for three years beginning the summer after the freshman year and includes a lap top computer.
A requirement of this scholarship is the student must participate in community service during the summer. By working with a nonprofit organization, a student gains knowledge about this sector and the value that these agencies provide.
Students are able to select the nonprofit group of their choice, which benefits from their assistance. The students then write about their experience with others in their cohort group, and work together in a variety of service projects during the year.

After conducting a study of Waco ISD employees, it was discovered finding high quality, reliable and affordable child care in the vicinity of Waco ISD is a primary concern of respondents. By providing a child care program for their employees, the school district will demonstrate genuine interest and concern for employees. In return, satisfied and supported employees are the basis for a stable workforce. The grant, payable over 2 years, will be used in the facility renovation of the employee child care center for the benefit of teacher recruitment and retention.

"Rainbows" is a not for profit international organization that provides training in curricula to help foster emotional healing among children grieving a loss from a life altering crisis. The Waco Mammoth Foundation, Inc. was created to preserve and protect an outstanding paleontological site first discovered in Waco in 1978. This organizations purpose is to collect specimens and associated data for present and future generations, to provide interpretative and educational opportunities, to provide opportunities to experience understand and enjoy the resource and surrounding area with a preservation site, and to construct protective structures and related site development in conjunction with the National Parks Service, City of Waco, and Baylor University. The grant will be used to assist in preservation of the site by constructing protective structures.

This small farm on the outskirts of Waco demonstrates simple but effective sustainable farming techniques to both domestic and international visitors. Interns and family live and work at the farm. Currently four of the six interns are married which has created a need for expanded facilities to safely and adequately accommodate intern families and single interns. The grant will assist in the construction of a multi-family house.

Youth Young Adult Fellowship Alliance

The organization's efforts are tied to ending drug abuse among young people in southeast Texas while encouraging them to pursue education and training, and to prepare them for the working world. In 2005 Hurricane Rita heavily damaged the youth center which forced the cancellation of the vast majority of their programs. The grant assisted in renovation of the youth center that was damaged by the hurricane.
